Bharat Traders

Bharat Traders is right in the Main Market area, near the Post Office in Umraha. It’s a lively spot to be in. We are very close to Sangam Marriage hall, so during the wedding season, it gets really loud around here with the music and the crowds. You can hear the bands playing from inside our shop. We deal with all sorts of things, mostly whatever the local people need. The market is always dusty and there is always something going on. We open up early because that’s when the farmers and the villagers start coming in to the Post Office. It’s a simple setup. We have some shelves, a counter, and a few stools for people to sit on while they wait. The roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we’ve got a bucket for that. We don't have a website or anything like that, just a sign outside. Most of our business comes from people who have known us for years. We talk about the weather, the crops, and who is getting married next at Sangam. It’s just regular life in Umraha. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just use flashlights until it comes back. We don't mind. It gives us a chance to step outside and chat with the neighbors for a bit. We’ve been here a long time, and we know everyone.
