K.K Cement Corp.

We have been running K.K Cement Corp. on Railway Road for quite some time now. Our place is actually inside M/S Amrit Lal & Sons, right near the Mandi Gate in Nawanshahr. If you know the area, it is easy to find because of all the trucks moving around. The cement business is messy, honestly. There is always dust on our clothes and in the office, but that is just how it goes when you deal with heavy bags every day. We spend most of our mornings checking the inventory and making sure the loaders are ready. Sometimes the weather in Nawanshahr gets really hot, which makes moving those heavy bags a lot harder for the boys. We don't do anything fancy here. It is just a yard with stacks of cement ready for whoever needs them for their construction projects. Most of the people who come by are local builders or guys just fixing up their own houses. We sit in the office, drink some tea, and handle the paperwork while the noise of the Railway Road traffic goes on outside. It is not a quiet job, but it is what we know. Being near the Mandi Gate means there is always something happening. We just keep the gates open and try to get the orders out before the sun goes down. It is a simple life here at the shop, just moving bags from one place to another.
