You can find us at Qr.No.-D-30 in the Circle O.P.M Colony out in Amlai. It’s a company colony setup where Mr. H. S. Singh helps manage things for Vasavadatta Cements Ltd. Shahdol is a bit of a distance from the big cities but we have everything we need right here. The office is basically part of the colony life. We see the same faces every day and everyone knows everyone else’s business. It’s a small operation at this specific location. We mostly deal with the local logistics and coordination for this part of Madhya Pradesh. The quarters are old but sturdy. We have our computers and some basic furniture to get through the work day. It gets a bit cold here in the winters but we just wrap up and keep working. There aren't many shops nearby so we bring our lunch from home or eat at the local canteen. It is a very quiet life compared to the big hubs. We handle the shipping details and the local accounts for the cement company. It is honest work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We are just a small branch of a larger company trying to make sure things run smoothly in Amlai. We have a small garden patch outside the door that some of us look after. It makes the place feel a bit more like home during the day.
