Son Mahila Kisan Utpadak Producer Company Limited is a group of women farmers based in Jaisinghnagar. We are located in Ward Number 13, right on Shahdol Road in the Kushwaerwah area. This group was started because the women around here do so much of the work on the farms, and we needed our own way to handle the business part of it. We grow all sorts of things and use this company to sell our produce and buy what we need for the next season. Being on Shahdol Road makes it easy for us to move the goods in and out. It’s not a professional office with a receptionist; it’s more like a community hub where we gather to talk about our crops and the prices we’re seeing in the market. We have kids running around sometimes, and it can get a bit chaotic, but we get the work done. Living and working in Jaisinghnagar means we know everyone, and everyone knows us. We’re just local women trying to make sure our families and our farms are doing okay. It’s hard to balance the housework and the field work, but having this company helps us stay a bit more organized. If you’re passing through Ward 13, that’s where you’ll find us working away on whatever the current season requires. We don't have any fancy marketing, just the reality of farming together.
