Hayat Flexi

If you have ever been through Jaistambh Chowk you have probably passed right by us without thinking much about it. We are right in the thick of things where all the traffic converges. It’s a loud place to work but you get used to the horns and the people shouting after a week or two. Hayat Flexi isn't a huge operation. We mostly just have our machines and some space to roll out the big sheets of flex when they come off the printer. The floor is usually covered in little offcuts of vinyl and plastic that we have to sweep up every evening before we head home. It’s a dusty job sometimes but that’s part of being at a busy junction like the chowk. We don't have a lot of space for a waiting room so people usually just stand around and watch the machines run while they wait for their stuff to be ready. Sometimes the power acts up or we run out of a specific color of ink and have to wait for the delivery guy to fight through the traffic at the chowk. It’s a practical way to spend the day and we don't mind the noise much anymore. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town or anything like that. We just want to stay open and keep the machines running for whoever needs something printed quickly. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving well enough for us. We are usually here until late.
