Bio Green Remedies Pvt. Ltd. is based out of the Main Market area, right near Gandhi Chauraha in Shahdol. Even though the name sounds a bit formal, we are just a small team working out of an office space here. The market is usually loud and full of people, especially on the weekends. We spend most of our time at our desks dealing with different papers or talking on the phone to suppliers. The office has a few old wooden chairs and a lot of boxes stacked against the walls. We don't really have a fancy reception or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find one of us drinking tea or trying to fix the slow internet connection when it cuts out. It gets pretty hot during the summer months in Shahdol, so the ceiling fan is always on full speed, though it makes a bit of a clicking noise that we’ve stopped noticing. We moved here because Gandhi Chauraha is a central spot and it makes it easier for people to find us when they need to visit. Our daily routine is mostly about checking lists and making sure the inventory is where it should be. We don't do much in terms of decoration; we just have some old calendars and a clock on the wall. It’s a practical space for practical work. Most days are quiet until a shipment arrives, and then everyone has to jump up and start moving things around.
