Akanksha Medical Stores

Akanksha Medical Stores is on Amarkantak Road over in Burhar. We are located right opposite the MPEB Supe Market, which is a busy area most days of the week. People go to the market for their groceries and then walk across to see us for their medicines. The shop is a bit older, with shelves that reach all the way to the ceiling. We have to use a small stool to reach the stuff at the top. Amarkantak Road is a main route, so there is always the sound of horns and engines in the background. It is not a quiet place, but it is where the action is. Inside, the shop smells a bit like rubbing alcohol and paper. We keep things organized as best as we can, though sometimes the boxes get a bit mixed up when we are in a hurry. Being across from the Supe Market means we get a lot of people just dropping in for small things like cough drops or pain relievers. We do not have a computer system that beeps or anything like that. We just write things down and give change from a metal drawer. It is a basic way of doing things, but it works for us and the people in Burhar. We stay open late enough for the workers coming home from their shifts. It is just a regular shop on a busy road, doing what we can for the folks around here.
