Operating Y.R.D Impex India Private Limited from Gandhi Nagar is an experience in itself. If you’ve ever been to East Delhi, you know Gandhi Nagar is famous for being one of the biggest trade hubs. Our place is at number 209 in Tagore Gali. It’s a narrow lane, and during peak hours, it’s a struggle just to walk through with all the carts and people carrying bundles of goods. We are right in the middle of that chaos. The office isn't very big, but it serves its purpose. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and checking on orders. There is a specific rhythm to the market here that you only get if you spend every day in it. The mornings start with the shutters rolling up all down the street, and it doesn't quiet down until late evening. We don’t have a lot of frills here. It’s mostly just us, our ledgers, and the steady stream of tea from the local shop. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just keep working by the window light.
