Ruchi Collection Private Limited is located right in the middle of Gandhi Nagar at the Shambhu Nath Building. If you know the area, you know how packed it gets with all the shops and traders. We are at number 1469. It’s a pretty old building but it has character and serves us well for what we do. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and stacks of clothes everywhere you look. We deal with a lot of different pieces every day. Some days are more chaotic than others, especially when a big delivery comes in and we have to find room for everything. The staff here has been around for a long time. We drink tea together and talk about the daily tasks. It’s a very local way of doing things. Gandhi Nagar is the heart of the textile market in East Delhi, so we are right where we need to be. There isn't much room for a fancy office, so we just use the space for storage and sorting. It gets dusty and loud with the traffic outside but that is just life in Delhi. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just run a simple clothing collection business and try to keep things organized as much as possible in a busy market like this. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours. We just focus on the clothes and getting them ready for whoever needs them. Every day is different but the building stays the same.
