We are based out of A-1003 in Ahinsha Vatika, which is right over in Ram Nagar, Shahdara. Being in a residential complex makes it a bit different than a standard commercial office. It’s much quieter here than being right on the main road, which is nice when we need to concentrate on the stuff we are working on. We’ve set up the rooms with basic office furniture and plenty of cables running everywhere for the computers. The view from the tenth floor is actually pretty good, you can see quite a bit of North East Delhi from up here on a clear day. We usually start the morning with a quick check-on of what needs to be finished from the day before. There isn't a receptionist or a big lobby with a sign, just a door with our name on a small plate. Most of the time it’s just the core team here, working through projects and occasionally ordering food when we stay late. The elevators can be slow in the mornings, so we’ve learned to time our arrivals so we aren't standing around. It feels more like a home office that grew a bit too big for one person. We don't have fancy meetings or formal presentations, we just talk across the desks to get things sorted out. It’s a practical way to run things without the noise of a typical business district. Shahdara can be hectic, but inside the Vatika, things stay calm for us to focus.
