We are tucked away in Guru Harkishan Gali, which is part of the Gandhi Nagar area in East Delhi. The shop number is 9/6052. If you know Gandhi Nagar, you know it’s one of the biggest hubs for cloth and fabrics in the country. It’s incredibly crowded every single day. We spend most of our time navigating the narrow lanes and dealing with batches of fabric. It’s a family-run kind of feel here, even though we’re a private limited company on paper. Most of our day is spent talking to traders or checking the quality of the latest arrivals. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know the fabric trade inside and out. It’s noisy and there's always someone shouting outside, but it’s home for us. We’ve seen the market change over the years, but the basics stay the same. People want good material for a fair price. We try to keep things straightforward. No big speeches or fancy ads. We just open up the shutters in the morning and get to work. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the rain makes the street a mess, but we just keep going. It’s a gritty, real way to do business, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We focus on the rolls of cloth and making sure our customers get what they actually asked for without any nonsense. It’s just how we operate in this part of town.
