If you know Gandhi Nagar, you know how busy Arjun Gali gets on a Monday morning. Our office is on the third floor of X/1101, which is a bit of a climb since there isn't an elevator in this building. By the time we get the stock up there, everyone is usually out of breath. Manhit Exim Private Limited is right in the middle of all the noise and the crowds of Raghupura Main Road. It’s a messy area with bikes everywhere and people hauling bundles of clothes on their backs. Inside, the space is pretty packed with samples and packing materials. We don't have fancy desks, just whatever fits in the rooms we have. The light isn't great, so we have these big tube lights on all day. We do a lot of checking and re-checking of addresses because the export business involves so many tiny details. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially on the top floor, so we have a couple of old coolers running that make a lot of noise. We usually eat lunch together at the main table if it’s not covered in boxes. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything coming in and going out, and sometimes things get delayed because the traffic in East Delhi is just a nightmare. We’re just here doing the daily grind like everyone else in this market, trying to keep up with the orders.
