Gandhi Nagar is a famous spot for clothes, and that’s where we are. Our place is in Old Seelampur, Gali No.-7, on the third floor. The address is IX/4718. It’s a maze around here, but once you find us, it’s just a hardworking space. Hajjan Noorjahan Collection is our name. We focus on our collections and getting things out to the shops. The third floor is a bit of a hike, especially when carrying heavy bags. But the view of the narrow streets is something else. It’s a tight community in Gali Number 7. We know our neighbors and they know us. We aren't a corporate giant. We are just a local setup trying to do things right. The sewing machines hum all day long. Sometimes we run out of space for all the stock. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't use big software for everything; a lot of it is written down in notebooks. It’s a bit old-fashioned, maybe, but it works for us. The atmosphere is usually quite busy. People are always coming in and out. We drink a lot of chai to keep going. It’s just how things are done in Gandhi Nagar. We take pride in the fact that we are right in the thick of it. It’s loud and dusty but it’s where we belong and how we make things happen.
