Grassroot Community Foundation

Grassroot Community Foundation is located at House No.12/539 in Gali No. 3 of Dayanand Nagar. It’s a busy little neighborhood where there is always something going on. Gali No. 3 is narrow, and you’ll often find kids playing cricket or someone drying clothes out front. Our office is just one of the houses on the street. We’ve lived and worked in this area for a while, so we are used to the noise and the energy of Dayanand Nagar. Inside House No.12/539, it’s pretty simple. We have a few tables pushed together and some chairs we found over the years. We don’t have a big budget for fancy decor, so the walls are mostly bare except for a calendar or two. In the afternoons, the smell of cooking from the neighbors' houses drifts in, which is quite nice. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. It's a very informal way of doing things, but it works for a small group like us. We spend our time working on various projects and talking to folks in the community. We don't have any big slogans or corporate goals. We just want to do some decent work from our small corner of Gali No. 3 and see how things go. It’s just a normal day here, most of the time, and we like it that way.
