Since we handle warehousing and logistics, being on the ground floor is a must for moving things in and out. The colony is a mix of houses and small businesses, so it’s a familiar environment. Our space is mostly filled with boxes, some shelving, and a small area where we have our computers and files. It’s often a bit dusty because of the constant movement of goods. We spend the day tracking shipments and making sure the warehouse space is being used properly. It’s a lot of physical work combined with staring at screens. We’ve got a small kettle for making tea, which is pretty much the most important piece of equipment in the office. The neighbors are mostly other small business owners, so we all know each other.
