Ecochirp Foundation

Ecochirp Foundation is located on the second floor of a building in West Rohtash Nagar. We are at 1/9228 on Street No-7, right in the heart of Shahdara. Being in North East Delhi, the area is quite crowded and there isn't much room for nature to breathe. That’s why we set up shop here. We wanted to see if we could get more people thinking about the environment even in the middle of all this concrete and traffic. Our office is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it’s a nice enough spot once you find it. We spend most of our days working on projects that involve local schools or just chatting with shopkeepers about reducing plastic. It isn't always smooth sailing. Sometimes people think we are wasting our time, or they just don't have the energy to care about the "eco" side of things when they are busy working. We get that. We are just regular people too, trying to pay the rent and keep things moving. But we think that even small things, like a few more birds in the trees or less trash in the drain, make the neighborhood better for everyone. Our team is small and we do most of the heavy lifting ourselves. It’s just how things work when you’re trying to start something from the ground up in Shahdara. We just keep chirping away.
