Aurum Architect

Our office is tucked away in Vishwas Nagar on the 60 Ft Road. It is Lane 10, right near where Swarn Cinema used to be. Shahdara is always crowded, so finding a quiet spot to work can be a challenge. We have been in this 26/112 space for a few years now. The room is mostly filled with computer screens and old folders that have seen better days. My staff and I spend most of our hours looking at site maps and trying to figure out how to fit everything in. It is not a shiny corporate office, just a practical place where we do our jobs. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. There are usually a few tea cups sitting around on the desks. We know the neighbors pretty well, from the shopkeepers next door to the people living upstairs. It feels like a real part of the community here. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the drafting boards to worry about that. We just want to make sure the sketches we hand over are clear and that they work for the people in the neighborhood. It is steady work and we like being right here in the middle of it all. People often drop by without calling first, and that is just fine with us.
