Anuj Welfare Foundation India

We're based in the Cross River Mall, in unit SF-47. It’s in the CBD area of Shahdara. Being in a mall is a bit different than a regular office building. There are always people walking by and the sound of music from the shops. Anuj Welfare Foundation India is the name on our lease. The office isn't very big, but it’s easy to find. We have some basic chairs and a table where we sit and plan things. It’s a bit of a mix of personal stuff and work files scattered around. We spend a lot of time working on local welfare projects here in East Delhi. It’s not always smooth sailing. Sometimes we run into problems with paperwork or things don't go as planned. We just deal with it as it comes. We aren't a massive organization with a PR team. It’s just us doing the best we can. Sometimes we take our breaks in the food court downstairs. It’s a good way to see what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. Just some calendars on the wall and a few photos. People pop in to ask what we do, and we just tell them straight. We don't use big words or try to sound more important than we are. We're just a small office in a big mall. It works for us and we've been here for a while now.
