We set up MAA BHAVINI DEVELOPERS LLP on Plot No. 466 in Chilgu. That's near Chandil in the Seraikela Kharsawan district, not too far from Jamshedpur really. Being out here means we have a lot of space, which is good for the kind of development work we do. It’s mostly just a group of us who grew up in the area and wanted to start something of our own. The office is right in the village, so we see our neighbors every day. We handle land and building projects around this part of Jharkhand. It’s not always easy work, especially when the paperwork gets piled up, but we stay at it. People from Jamshedpur often come out this way looking for plots, and we help them out. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just local people who know the land around Chilgu and Chandil very well. Sometimes the rain washes out the access roads, which can be a real pain for the trucks, but that’s just part of life here. We don't spend much on advertising because people usually find us by asking around at the local market or the tea stalls. We just want to build things that last and help the area grow a little bit. It’s a simple setup, nothing fancy. We spend most of our time out in the fields or on the construction sites rather than sitting behind desks.
