Gillanders Arbuthnot & Co. Ltd. Unit: Micco.

Our unit for Micco is located out in Nuagram, which is part of the Haldipokhar area in the East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you are coming from the main city, but it is where we have set up shop. The landscape around here is quite different from the big urban centers, with more open space and a slower pace of life. We work out of this spot every day, dealing with whatever comes across the desk. The weather can be quite tough, especially during the monsoon when the roads get a bit muddy and difficult to navigate. Inside the office, it is pretty simple and functional. We have got our desks and our files, and that is about it. There is a local tea shop just down the road where we usually end up talking about the weather or local news. It is a quiet place to work mostly, though you can hear the sounds of the nearby village and the occasional truck passing by on its way to the bigger towns. We don't spend much time worrying about how things look as long as we are keeping up with the tasks. It is just a practical place for us to be located to handle our business in this part of the state, away from all the noise of the city.
