Our company is set up in Barghat, and we focus on medicinal plants and general farming. We are a group of producers who wanted to organize ourselves better. The office is listed under SC number 28198 in the P.H.N. 48 area. It’s a rural setting, which is perfect for the kind of plants we are interested in. A lot of the work we do involves traditional knowledge of herbs and how to grow them properly without ruining the soil. We aren't experts in marketing or anything, just people who know about plants. Most days are spent checking the growth or talking about how to dry the herbs correctly. We have a small group of members who all contribute what they can. It’s a bit of a slow process, as medicinal plants can be picky about the weather and the water. We don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning. We mostly meet in the shade or at the small room we use for paperwork. It can be tiring, but it’s interesting work that keeps us connected to the land. We try to help the smaller farmers in the area get a fair shake when it comes time to sell. It’s a community thing more than anything else. We are just trying to keep our traditions alive while making enough to support our families in Barghat. We just keep going, season by season, hoping for good weather and decent harvests for everyone involved.
