Modi Bricks

You can find us right on the National Highway-7, out on the Jabalpur Road in Loharwada. Our yard is on the main road, so you cannot really miss the stacks of bricks if you are driving by. We are quite close to the IPS International Public School, which is a major landmark for anyone trying to find us. Being on the highway means we get a lot of dust and the sound of heavy trucks going past all day and night. That is just the nature of the brick business out here. It is a dusty, hot job, especially in the summer months when the sun beats down on the highway. We have got piles of bricks everywhere and the ground is usually covered in red grit. It is not a fancy place by any means. There is a small office where we handle the accounts and talk to the drivers. Most of our time is spent outside or near the entrance, watching the loads go out. The school nearby is a bit quieter, but out here on the main road, things are always moving. We do not really have a reception area or anything like that. People just pull up and we talk shop right there on the road. It is a bit rough around the edges, but it is honest work. We have been at this spot in Loharwada for a good while, watching the traffic on NH-7 change over the years.
