You can find Manobal A New Begining Foundation in Lakhnadon, which is in the Seoni district. Our address is a bit of a mouthful: C/o Gouri Shankar Neema, Kachaheri Road, Thane Ke Pass, in Subhash Ward No 3. Basically, if you find the local police station (the Thane), we are right nearby. Lakhnadon is a small town, so everyone knows everyone. Our office is part of a local building owned by Mr. Neema. It’s a very humble space. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just the breeze from the windows and a few ceiling fans. We deal with people who are going through some tough times and need a fresh start. Whether it’s family issues or just feeling stuck, they come here to talk. We have some plastic chairs and a wooden table where we sit and listen. It’s very quiet on Kachaheri Road most days, except for the occasional horn or the sound of people walking to the market. We take notes on paper pads and keep them in a metal cabinet. It’s old-fashioned, but it works for us. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just know we are here by word of mouth. We do our best to help whoever walks in from Subhash Ward or the surrounding villages. It’s just about being there for people when they need a bit of strength and a place to sit for a while.
