Hafeez Brothers

Our place is in Budhwari Bazar in the Seoni District. Specifically, we are in the Loha Holi area, which is right near the Nagar Palika building. It is a very busy part of town, especially on market days when everyone comes in from the surrounding villages. We have been here for a long time, and the shop has stayed pretty much the same over the years. My brothers and I run the place together. It is mostly iron goods and heavy stuff, so the air always has that metallic smell to it. The walls are a bit dark from all the dust and soot over the years, but that is just how a place like this looks. We don't have a fancy office or air conditioning. We just have our desks and the stacks of inventory piled up towards the back. You can hear the sounds of the bazaar all day long, people shouting and trucks unloading nearby. It’s a loud environment, but we are used to it by now. We usually have tea delivered from the stall across the street a few times a day. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just provide what people in Seoni need for their construction or repairs. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually dirty by noon, but it’s what we know how to do. Most of our regulars are like friends now.
