RIVERINE SEKMAI HOTELS AND RESORTS PRIVATE LIMITED

So, we have this place called Riverine Sekmai Hotels and Resorts Private Limited. We are based out in Awang Sekmai, specifically in the Koujengleima Khajingpat area. It's a bit of a drive from the main city center of Imphal West, but that's kind of the point. We wanted to be somewhere a bit more open. The post office and police station are right there in Sekmai, so it's a known spot. We spend most of our mornings just checking on the grounds and making sure the water is running fine. Being out here in Manipur means you have to be ready for anything with the weather. It’s a lot of maintenance work, honestly. We aren't trying to be one of those huge corporate chains you see in magazines. We’re just local people running a resort. Sometimes we have to fix the fences or clear out some brush near the Khajingpat side. It's physical work. Most of the staff live nearby, so it feels like a community effort. People come here when they want to get away from the noise for a day or two. We don't have a lot of rules, just ask that people respect the space. It’s pretty quiet at night, which we like. We’ve been putting in the hours to keep this place going since we started. It's a decent way to earn a living while staying close to the land and the river.
