About Vishnu Priya Sarees – Fashion & Trends in Sehore
We are located in the Charkha Line of Sarafa Bazaar. If you know the area, you know it’s famous for the jewelry shops, but we’ve been tucked away here with our sarees for a long time. The building is quite old and the walls are thick, which helps a bit with the heat. We don't have a big glass front. Instead, you walk through a heavy wooden door to get inside. Most of the time, we are sitting on the white sheets on the floor, waiting for someone to come by. It’s a traditional way of doing things that we’ve stuck with. The light comes in from the small windows near the ceiling. Sarafa Bazaar is a maze of narrow lanes and it can be hard to find us if you aren’t looking. We have sarees from all over, just folded up in neat piles. There’s no loud music or bright signs here. It’s usually just the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional motorbike passing by outside in the alley. We drink a lot of water from the clay pot in the corner during the summer. People who come here usually know us by name because their mothers or grandmothers used to buy from us too. It’s a quiet business. We just keep track of the stock and make sure the fabrics stay clean and dry throughout the year.
