Satawan Foods Llp

Our setup is at the Satawan Warehouse in Borna village, near Jait. It’s quite a way out from the main city, which makes it a peaceful place to work. We are C/O Lakhan Lal Meena and the warehouse is a large, sturdy building with a tin roof. When it rains, the sound is so loud we can’t even hear each other talk. We use the space for storing and sorting food products. It’s very basic. We don't have paved roads all the way to the door, so it gets quite muddy during the monsoon season. We often have to help the drivers push their trucks if they get stuck in the soft dirt. There are no fancy offices here. We have one small table where we keep our registers and a few plastic chairs. We spend most of our time out on the warehouse floor, checking the bags for any issues. We have a few people from Borna who help us out with the heavy packing. It’s a very slow-paced life compared to the city. We start work when the sun comes up and usually head home before it gets too dark. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the food we store is kept in good condition. We drink a lot of water from the local pump and sometimes share a meal with the workers. It’s honest, simple work.
