Prashanti Tea

You can find Prashanti Tea on Kannod Road in the village of Ashta. We are in the Sehore district, and our spot is right near the Bank of Baroda. It’s a convenient place because everyone goes to the bank eventually. Ashta is a quiet place for the most part, and we like it that way. We aren't a big factory with hundreds of workers and machines. It’s just a small local operation where we process and pack our tea. The road outside can get a bit dusty when the tractors go by, but that’s just village life. We spend our days checking the moisture in the leaves and making sure the seals on the bags are tight. It’s simple work, but you have to pay attention so you don't make mistakes. My family has lived in this area for a long time, so we know a lot of the farmers around here. We don't have a big mission statement or any fancy goals. We just want to provide something useful to the people in our community. If someone stops by, we usually have a chat about the crops or the local news. We don't spend money on big signs or ads. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here on Kannod Road for a while and people know we are reliable. It’s a modest way to make a living, and it suits us just fine. We just take it day by day.
