Dr Sisodias New Surya Hospital

Over at Ganga Ashram, you’ll find Dr. Sisodia’s New Surya Hospital. Even though the name says "New," we’ve been part of this community for a while now. The building is a sturdy structure that has seen a lot of patients walk through its doors. Inside, it smells like floor cleaner and medicine, which is what you’d expect from any hospital. Dr. Sisodia is usually around, checking on the different rooms or talking to families in the hallway. It’s a busy place, especially since Ganga Ashram is a central spot where people tend to congregate. We have nurses running around with clipboards and a few beds for those who need to stay longer. The waiting area has those metal chairs that are always a bit cold when you first sit down. It’s not a five-star facility with private suites; it’s a working hospital where the focus is just on getting people back on their feet. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s strangely silent for an hour. We deal with everything from minor scrapes to more serious stuff that requires a lot of attention. The staff here is local, so we know the shortcuts to get around the traffic outside. It’s a bit of a hectic life, but we’re used to the pace by now. We just keep things moving, making sure the shifts are covered and the patients are being seen to as best as we can. It’s hard work.
