Ashta Trade Farmer Producer Company Limited is our name and we are based in a small village called Mugli. You can find us through Pradeep Singh who stays here. The zip code is 466116. Being out in Mugli means we are right in the middle of where the farming actually happens. We aren't based in some big city office with air conditioning and fancy chairs. We work where the mud is. Our main thing is helping farmers get their produce traded properly. It’s a group effort, really. Pradeep handles a lot of the day-to-day stuff and keeps the records straight. We don't really do the whole marketing thing because everyone around here knows us anyway. It’s more about trust than about shiny brochures. If someone has a crop ready, they come talk to us. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate and things get slow, but we just wait it out. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don't have any grand statements to make. We just want to make sure the trade is fair and that the farmers in Mugli and the surrounding areas have a place to go.
