Emerald Lace

You can find us right on Vinayaka Street, which is just off S. B. I. Street. We are very close to the Vinayaka Temple, so it is a landmark everyone around here uses to give directions. Emerald Lace is basically a small workshop filled with spools of thread and lace patterns. It is quite a narrow street, so things can get a bit cramped when we have a delivery arriving. We’ve spent many years here, watching the neighborhood change while we stay focused on our work. The bells from the temple are a nice sound to hear throughout the day while we are busy. We don’t have a shiny showroom or anything like that. It is mostly just boxes and rolls of lace stacked up against the walls. We handle a lot of small orders for local tailors and sometimes bigger batches for other businesses. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the patterns and making sure everything looks okay before it goes out. Sometimes we run out of space and have to rearrange everything just to move around. We don't mind it much. It feels like a real workplace. Most of our neighbors are friends now. If you are walking near the temple, you might see us out front loading up a cart or just taking a quick break. We don't have a big fancy sign, but people know we are here. It is just how we operate. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
