We are tucked away in Shahpur Galli, right at number 159 in Basavakalyan. It is a narrow street, so it is not always easy for big deliveries to get through. Our workshop stays busy with the sound of metal and tools clanking. It is an industrial spot, so do not expect it to be very clean or quiet. We have a small crew that has been with us for a long time. Everyone knows their job and we just get on with it. The building itself is older, with high ceilings and heavy doors. We usually leave the front gate open during the day to let some air in. It gets quite hot in the summer, especially with the machines running. We make different parts and items depending on what is ordered. There is a lot of measuring and cutting involved. We keep the raw materials in the back and the finished stuff near the entrance. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to borrow a tool or just to say hello. It is that kind of place. We do not do a lot of talking; we mostly just work. The paperwork is done on a wooden desk in the corner that is covered in old coffee rings. We do not have a website or any of that. We just focus on the orders we have on the board right now. It is a solid way to spend the day, making things with our hands.
