Narasimha Farm

The sun gets pretty hot out here in Gulburga. We spend most of our days at Narasimha Farm, which is right by the 567/45 mark. It’s not a fancy place, just some land where we try to keep things growing. Being so close to the railway station means we hear the trains coming and going all day and night. It's a sound you just get used to after a while. Sometimes the dust from the tracks blows over, but that’s just how it is. We’ve been at this for a bit now. There's always something that needs fixing or a patch of ground that needs water. People stop by sometimes because they see the gate near the tracks. It’s mostly just us working through the seasons. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the sheds and the dirt. The soil here has its good days and its bad ones. You have to watch the weather closely. Some mornings are quiet before the first train whistles. We just handle the daily chores as they come. It's a lot of manual work. My hands are usually dirty by noon. We don't really do much talking, mostly just doing the tasks. If you're looking for us, look for the spot near the station. It’s been our home for quite some time now. We just keep the farm running the best we can without making any kind of fuss.
