Ushasri Industries

Ushasri Industries is situated at 93/1 in the Co-Operative Industrial Estate, specifically in the expansion programme part of Balanagar. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but once you get here, it’s a pretty solid place to work. We have a decent amount of space for our machines and the materials we keep in stock. Balanagar is known for having a lot of these kinds of units, so we fit right in with the rest of the neighbors. Some mornings the fog is so thick you can’t see the end of the street, but the lights in the shop are always on early. We have a routine that we follow, starting with a check of the equipment before we get started on the orders. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s steady and it keeps us busy. The industrial estate has grown quite a bit since we first got here, and there are more buildings now than there used to be. We know most of the people working in the units nearby, and we sometimes help each other out if someone is short on a tool or needs a bit of advice. Inside 93/1, things are organized enough so we don't lose anything, though it can get a bit cluttered when a big shipment arrives. We just take it one day at a time, making what we need to make and keeping the place going as long as we can.
