Sachin Jewellers

Sachin Jewellers is located at No. 10-108 in Temple Alwarl. Being so close to the temple means we hear a lot of bells and chanting throughout the day. It’s a small shop, not like those big fancy stores you see in the mall. We have some wooden counters with glass tops where we keep the items. The lighting isn't perfect, but it’s enough for people to see what they are looking at. We’ve been here in Alwarl for a long time, and we know many of the families who live on this street. Sometimes people just stop in to say hello while they are on their way to the temple. We don't have any formal uniforms or anything like that. We just wear our regular clothes and sit behind the counter. The shop is a bit small, so it can feel a bit crowded when more than three people are inside at once. We handle all the work ourselves, from cleaning the glass to talking to customers. There is no big marketing plan. We just rely on being honest and being part of the neighborhood. Sometimes we have to close for a bit if we need to run an errand, and we just put a small sign on the door. It is a very personal way to run a business. We like the connection we have with the local people. It’s just our way of life here.
