S.V.S. Wires Pvt.Ltd. is situated at D-36 in the Phase IV Extension of the IDA in Jeedimetla. This part of the industrial area is always bustling with activity. Our place is basically a large shed where we pull and coat wires all day. There is a constant whirring sound from the spooling machines that you can hear even before you step through the door. The air smells a bit like hot metal and plastic, which is something you just stop noticing after the first week of working here. We’ve got a small crew of about twenty people. Some of them have been here since the day we opened the gates. You won't find any big signs or flashy lights outside; just the company name painted on the wall near the entrance. Jeedimetla can be a tough place to work in the summer because the heat inside the factory gets quite intense. We have big fans, but they mostly just move the warm air around. We focus on getting the orders out on time so the transport guys don't have to wait. There’s no marketing department here; if someone needs wire, they usually just call the landline or show up at the gate. We handle a lot of bulk orders for construction and electrical projects. It’s honest, hard work, and we don't try to make it sound like anything else.
