This place is located in Padmashally Colony, right in the Kavadiguda area of the city. It is a bit tucked away in a residential pocket, but we have our regular visitors who know exactly where to find us. We deal with agricultural supplies, so there is always a faint smell of earth and fertilizers in the air inside. The bags of seeds and chemicals are stacked along the walls, and sometimes we have to climb over things to get to the items in the back. It is not a very tidy office, but we know where every single thing is kept. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers or writing down notes on scraps of paper. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the boots of people coming in from the fields or local gardens. We have a small desk near the entrance where we sit and wait for the next delivery truck to arrive. Outside, the colony is mostly quiet except for the occasional scooter or the sound of someone washing their porch. We do not have a big team, just a couple of us who handle the lifting and the paperwork every day. It gets quite busy during the planting season when everyone wants their supplies at the same time. During the off-season, we just sit back and organize the shelves or fix the roof if it is leaking. It is honest work and it keeps the local farming needs sorted.
