Sri Sai Kiranan & General Stores

You can find us right at Tadbund X Road, sitting just beside the HDFC Bank. Being at D.No. 2-1-77 means we see a lot of traffic and people passing by all day long. It’s a busy spot, which is good for a general store like ours. We stock all the usual things people need in a hurry, from snacks to household cleaners. The shelves are packed pretty tight because we try to have a little bit of everything. It can get a bit loud with the traffic noise from the crossroads, but we’re used to it by now. We open up early because people often need things on their way to work or after dropping kids off. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us taking turns behind the counter. We know a lot of the regulars who work in the nearby offices or live in the apartments around here. Sometimes we're just chatting while we weigh out some items or count change. It isn't a supermarket, just a local kirana shop where you can get what you need without walking too far. If the weather is bad, folks duck in here to stay dry for a minute while they shop. We’ve been part of the Tadbund area for a good while. We just keep the lights on and the milk cold. That is basically our whole day here at Sri Sai Kiranan.
