You can find Sri Jagadamba Kirana & Rice Depot at Door No 29-1353/1/4/1. We are located in Vinayak Nagar-Neredmet, which is in the Hyderabad 500056 area. As the name says, we handle a lot of rice. We have different varieties in big jute bags stacked up against the walls. Besides rice, we carry the usual kirana items like lentils, oils, and tea. The shop smells like raw grain and spices. It’s a very local place. We don't have any fancy glass doors. It’s just an open front so people can walk right in. We spend a lot of time lifting heavy bags and weighing out smaller portions. It’s hard work but it’s honest. We know the regular customers who come every month for their 25kg rice bags. Sometimes we help them carry the bags out to their cycles or autos. The shop gets busy in the evenings when everyone is coming back from work. We don't have a fancy office, just a wooden desk in the corner. We keep track of everything in a thick register. It’s how we’ve always done it. Neredmet is a nice place to have a shop. We don't need any big advertisements to stay busy. People know us for the basic stuff they need to eat every day. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if a customer calls and says they are on their way.
