Sony Saree Collections

Sony Saree Collections is located right in Shop No 11 inside Sri Manasa Towers. If you live around Kukatpally, you probably know the building. It’s a decent spot, though parking can be a bit of a headache during the weekends. We have shelves full of sarees that we’ve gathered over time. It’s mostly just us folding and unfolding fabric all day long. When customers come in, we just show them what’s on the racks. We don’t really do fancy displays. The lighting in the shop is okay, but we often take the sarees near the doorway to show the real color in daylight. It makes a difference. Dealing with silk and cotton keeps us on our feet. We get new bundles delivered every few weeks, and it takes a lot of time to sort through everything. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when three or four families are inside at once. We’ve been in this part of Hyderabad for some time now. People come in looking for something for a wedding or just a simple gift. We don't use a lot of big words to sell things. We just tell you what the fabric is and how much it costs. Sri Manasa Towers is a busy place, so there's always noise from the street. We just keep the fans running and stay busy with the pleating and folding. It's just a regular local shop where we try to keep things organized despite the constant movement of fabrics.
