Sonali Industries

We’ve been running Sonali Industries out of 4-303/2 in Gita Nagar for quite some time now. It’s not a huge setup, just a regular place where we get things done. Most days start early because there is always some job or another waiting. The machines can be a bit loud, and the floor usually has some metal scraps or dust around, but that is just how it is when you’re actually making things. We have a couple of guys who have been with us for years. They know the equipment better than anyone. People around Gita Nagar probably know us by the sound of the shutters opening in the morning. We don’t have a fancy front office or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the back working on a lathe or checking a finished part. It’s practical work. Sometimes we get really busy and the piles of materials grow a bit high, but we try to keep it organized enough to find what we need. We handle whatever orders come through the door, some big and some small. There isn’t much to the place other than the work we do. We don’t spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork unless we absolutely have to. Most of our day is spent with our hands on the tools. It’s a bit messy and hot in the afternoons, but that’s the reality of a workshop like this one.
