Nav Vikash Enterprises is up on the first floor of the Siddam Shetty Complex on Ctc Parklane. Being in the 95C unit means we’re right in the middle of a very busy part of town. Parklane is always humming with people and traffic throughout the day. Our office is a bit of a refuge from all that noise once you get inside and close the door. It’s not a huge space, just enough for our desks, some filing cabinets, and the samples we keep on hand for visitors. The lighting is okay, but we usually have the overheads on all day to see clearly. We spend a lot of time on the computer or talking to suppliers on the phone. It’s the kind of place where there’s always a stack of papers that needs sorting. We don’t have any fancy couches or a coffee machine that does everything. We just have a small kettle and some mugs in the corner. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for years, so it's a friendly atmosphere. We like being in the complex because everything is close by, even if the stairs can be a bit of a workout when the elevator is slow. It’s a practical place for a small business. We start our day with a list of things to do and usually end it with a few things still left for tomorrow morning. It’s just how it is. We aren't trying to be anything other than a working office doing our best to keep things on track for everyone.
