Shyam Prasad Kirana & General Store

We've been here at 1-48/A in Hasmathpet for quite some time now. Being right near the bus stop in Bowenpally means we see a lot of people coming and going every day. It gets busy during the morning hours when everyone is catching their ride. Shyam Prasad Kirana & General Store isn't some big supermarket where you get lost in the aisles. It's just a regular shop where you can grab your tea powder, soap, or some lentils without a fuss. We keep the shelves stocked with things people actually use at home. Sometimes the boxes are stacked a bit high because the space isn't huge, but we know where everything is. If you're waiting for your bus and realize you forgot milk, you just hop in. It’s mostly just us handling the counter and making sure the grains are clean. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. The floor gets a bit dusty with all the foot traffic from the road, but that's just how it is. People from around here know us by name, and we recognize them too. It’s a simple way to make a living. We try to keep the staples ready so nobody has to go too far. If the weather is bad, the shop gets a bit cramped, but it’s a roof over the head and work to do. It’s nothing fancy, just a part of the neighborhood.
