Shiohum Business Publication

Shiohum Business Publication is situated at 632, inside the AKTC building on M.G. Road. It’s a busy location because M.G. Road is always packed with traffic and people going about their day. Being in the AKTC building means we are surrounded by other small offices, so there is a lot of coming and going in the hallways. Our space is mostly filled with stacks of paper, books, and various manuscripts we are working on. It smells like ink and old paper in here, which is something you get used to pretty quickly. We spend most of our time at our computers or proofreading physical copies of things. It can be a bit noisy outside with the honking of cars, but we’ve learned to tune it out. We aren't a big corporate publishing house. It’s just a few of us who handle the day-to-day operations of the publication. The AKTC building is older, but it has character. Our office at number 632 is a bit small, especially when we have a new batch of publications arrive, but we make it work by stacking things high. We don't have a fancy lobby. If you visit, you'll probably walk right into where the work is happening. It’s a humble setup, but we get the job done. M.G. Road has plenty of food stalls nearby, so lunch is always the highlight of our workday. We just enjoy the process of putting things together.
