Sharada Sarees

Sharada Sarees is located on the ground floor of Balaji Mansion, right in the Kavadiguda area of Hyderabad. The address is 1-3-1061. It is a place where we spend most of our day surrounded by a lot of fabric and different colors. We have been here long enough that most people in the street know us. Selling sarees takes a lot of patience because customers want to see every single piece before they decide on one. We spend a lot of time unfolding and then carefully folding everything back up. It can be tiring on the back, but that is the job. The shop is not huge, but we make use of every bit of shelf space we have. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit, or the floor needs an extra sweep because of the dust from the road, but we keep at it. Kavadiguda is a busy part of town, so there is always noise from the traffic outside. We get a mix of people, some looking for something simple for daily use and others wanting something a bit more colorful. We just sit here, talk to the customers, and try to give them what they are looking for. It is a straightforward business without any bells and whistles. We do not have fancy marketing or anything. If you need a saree, you just come in, sit down, and we show you what we have on the shelves.
