Sarees Centre

Our place is called Sarees Centre and we are located at 7-1-923 on Subhash Road, near RP Road. We are quite close to the Kingway Circle in Secunderabad. If you know this part of Hyderabad, you know how busy the roads can get. There’s always someone honking or people rushing to the market. Running this shop for a long time has given us a lot of stories. There is no corporate office or marketing team here. It’s just us on Subhash Road, opening up the shutters every day and setting out the sarees. Having a good variety is important because people around here have different tastes. It’s a lot of work to keep everything folded and organized, especially when it gets busy in the afternoons. Most of our customers are just local families who have lived in Secunderabad for generations. Fancy signs aren't needed to get people in the door. They just see the name or know we are near the circle and stop by. It gets quite hot in the summers, but we are used to it by now. The shop is our second home, really. Most of our lives are spent here among the stacks of cloth. It is a straightforward way of living, just selling sarees and talking to the neighbors. There is no big mission, we just want to make sure the shop stays running and we have what people need.
