New Furniture Mart

We are located right on S.D. Road, just by Paradise Circle. If you see Kamat Hotel, you’re basically there. It’s a busy spot, so parking can be a bit of a pain sometimes, but we’ve been at this location for quite a bit. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of chairs, tables, and wardrobes. We don’t have any of those fancy showrooms with mood lighting. It’s more of a what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of place. People come in looking for something sturdy for their homes or maybe a new desk for an office. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make space for new stock. The dust gets in sometimes because of the main road, but we try to keep things clean. We know most of the regulars around here. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us helping out and showing what’s available on the floor. Sometimes we help with the loading if someone brings a truck, or we figure out how to get a big sofa through a narrow door. It’s practical work. We don’t use big words or try to sell people stuff they don’t need. If a cupboard is good, we say so. If it’s just a basic one, we say that too. It’s just a straightforward shop near the circle where you can find something to sit on or eat at without spending a fortune.
