Over in Balkampet, at 7-1-237/9/10, is where you’ll find Sai Balaji Auto Mobiles. We are right in the middle of a very active part of town. Our shop is filled with various spare parts and tools for all sorts of vehicles. It’s usually quite a bit of a mess with boxes stacked up and engine parts lying on the workbenches. We spend most of our time with grease under our fingernails, trying to figure out why a bike won't start or fixing up a car that’s seen better days. The traffic in Balkampet is something else, so there’s never a quiet moment outside the door. We’ve got a small team here, and we mostly just talk to each other while we work. We don't really do the whole professional corporate thing. If a customer comes in, we just tell them straight what’s wrong and how long it’ll take to fix. Sometimes we run out of a specific part and have to wait for the delivery guy to fight through the traffic to get to us. It can be frustrating, but that’s just life in the city. We have a lot of regular customers who trust us with their vehicles because they know we’ve been here a long time and we know our way around a motor. It’s a simple life of fixing things and keeping people moving.
