Saanvi Kitchen

Saanvi Kitchen is located at Flat No. 101 in the Windsor Avenue building over in New Bhoiguda. It’s more of a home-style setup than a big commercial kitchen. You can usually smell what we’re cooking from the hallway before you even get to the door. We spend most of our mornings chopping vegetables and getting the spices ready for whatever is on the menu that day. It gets pretty hot in the kitchen, especially when all the burners are going at once. We have pots and pans everywhere, and the sink is almost always full of things that need washing. It’s a bit chaotic during the lunch rush, but we managed to get the food out to whoever ordered it. We don't have a big fancy dining room with waiters. It’s mostly just us in our aprons trying to keep up with the orders and the phone ringing. Sometimes we try a new recipe and the whole place smells like cinnamon or garlic for hours. Our neighbors in Windsor Avenue are pretty nice about the noise and the smells. We like being in this part of town because it’s close to the market where we get our fresh supplies every morning. It's just a small family-run thing, nothing too official or polished. We just like to cook and feed people, and this flat gives us enough space to do exactly that every single day.
