You can find us over on Manjeera Road in Chanda Nagar. The shop address is 5-12/B, and it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. As ladies tailors at Royal Fashion Designers, there is always the sound of sewing machines running in the background. It’s not a quiet place. We have fabrics piled up in different corners and threads of every color you can think of hanging on the wall. We are just regular people working with our hands. We spend a lot of time measuring, cutting, and stitching. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit and we have to wait it out, which is common enough around here. Chanda Nagar is always moving, and Manjeera Road gets its fair share of traffic and dust. We try to keep the shop clean, but with all the fabric scraps, it’s a constant battle. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know how to use the machines. It’s hard work on the eyes and the back, but it’s what we know how to do. Customers come in with their own ideas or pictures from their phones, and we see what we can manage to create for them. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, we sew, and we make sure everything is ready when people come back to pick up their orders. We’ve been at this for a long time and just keep at it.
